History Of Birnin Kudu

Birnin Kudu Local Government Area (LGA) is situated in the southern part of Jigawa State, Nigeria. The population of Birnin Kudu LGA is estimated at 133,058 inhabitants. Birnin Kudu is located approximately 120 kilometres southeast of Kano, one of the major cities in northern Nigeria.

Birnin Kudu LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Badingu, Warawade, Yalwan Damai, Nafara, Lafiya, Kantoga, Chiyako, and Fada. The majority of the population in Birnin Kudu LGA belongs to the Fulani ethnic group. Both the Hausa and Fulfulde languages are spoken extensively in the area.
