History Of Boki

Boki Local Government Area is in Cross River State, Nigeria, situated in the southern part of the country. The headquarters of Boki Local Government Area is in the town of Boje. Boki Local Government Area was created on 28 August 1991.

Boki shares borders with the Republic of Cameroon and with the Ikom, Obudu, and Ogoja LGAs within Cross River State. Boki LGA has a population of about 143,980 inhabitants. The Boki dialect is largely spoken in Boki LGA.

Boki LGA consists of several towns and villages, including Ntamante, Borum, Kakwagom-Irruan, Bunyia, Nkim Osokom, Boje, Dadi, Iman, and Okundi.
