Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area situated in Kano State, Nigeria. Dawakin Tofa LGA covers an area of 479 km⊃2; and had a population of 247,875 according to the 2006 census. However, the estimated current population of the LGA is 153,607 inhabitants.

The LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Dandalama, Jobenkun, Yelwa, Bagari, Alajawa, Bankaura, Rumi, and Kaleku.
