History Of Doguwa

Doguwa Local Government Area is situated in the extreme south of Kano State, Nigeria, within the Northwest geopolitical zone. Its administrative headquarters are located in the town of Riruwai.

Doguwa Local Government covers a total area of 1,473 square kilometers and had a population of 151,181 according to the 2006 census. The estimated current population is 168,709 inhabitants. The LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Dadabo, Zenabi, Fanyabo, Mahuta, Lungu, Sabuwar, Tsauni, and Shiburu.
