History Of Dukku

Dukku Local Government Area is situated in Gombe State, Northeast Nigeria. It covers a total area of 3,815 square kilometers. The Gongola River flows through the west and north of the LGA. The local government area comprises several towns and villages, including Dukku town (which serves as the headquarters), Lafiya Yole, Kaloma, Hashidu, Walowa, Bawa, Bagadaza, and Gado.

The population of Dukku LGA is estimated to be around 178,669 inhabitants. The major ethnic groups in the area are Fulani and Bolawa, with other ethnic groups such as Hausa, Kanuri, and Kare-Kare also present.
