Efon is a Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Efon-Alaaye. It has an area of 232 km2 and a population of 86,941 at the 2006 census. The postal code of the area is 362.

Efon Local Government Area is headquartered in Efon Alaiye town and the council area consists of 19 major towns and many villages which include Oro, Obake, Iwaji, Etisun, Abeta, Agboro, Aladura, Alagba, Mesan, Alawaye, Araromi, Ido-Ajegunle, Igbo-Aba etc.
