History Of Gazawa

Gezawa is a Local Government Area located in Kano State, Nigeria. Gezawa LGA covers an area of 340 km⊃2; and had a population of 282,069 according to the 2006 census.

The LGA includes several towns and villages, such as Tsamiya Babba, Abasawa, Dagazam, Gunduwawa, Tumbau, Zango, Jogana, and Charo. The majority of the inhabitants in Gezawa LGA are members of the Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups. The predominant languages spoken in the area are Fufulde and Hausa.
