History Of Gbako

Gbako Local Government Area (LGA) is located in Niger State, Nigeria, its headquarters located in the town of Lemu. Gbako LGA covers a total land area of 1,753 square kilometers.

According to the 2006 census, Gbako LGA had a population of 127,466 inhabitants. Key towns and villages within Gbako LGA include Shabafu, Nimadu, Kpafu, Gorogban, Ekpangi, Dingi, Akote, and Sheshiko.
