History Of Guyuk

Guyuk Local Government Area (LGA) situated in Adamawa State, Nigeria. Guyuk is known for having many limestone deposits.
Geographical Location: The town of Guyuk is located along the Numan–Biu road.

The LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Purakayo, Gwalura, Chikita, Gundenyi, Walu, Lokoro, Wawi, and Gorotoro. The estimated population of Guyuk LGA is 159,552 inhabitants. The majority of the area's inhabitants belong to the Fulani and Hausa ethnic divisions. The widely spoken languages in the area are Hausa and Fufulde.
