History Of Ibadan North-West

Ibadan North West Local Government was created in 1991 by the then Military Head of State, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida (rtd).

Ibadan North-West is a Local Government Area in Oyo State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are at Dugbe/Onireke. The local government covers a large area of land. According to the 2006 National Population Census, Ibadan North West Local Government had a population of 152,834, with 75,311 males and 77,523 females. The postal code for the area is 200.
