History Of Idanre

Idanre Local Government Area is in Ondo State, Nigeria. Its administrative headquarters is in Owena. Idanre is noted for its famous tourist attraction, the Idanre Hills. The local government area consists of various towns and communities, including Ala-Elefosan, Alade, Atosin, Idole-lemikan, Idole-logbosere, Ijomu, Isurin, and others.

Idanre is known as the largest cocoa-producing area, and the residents are mainly engaged in farming and trading. Cocoa production is a significant economic activity in the region.
