Ika Northeast Local Government Area is located in Delta State, South-south geopolitical zone, Nigeria. The headquarters is in Owa Oyibu. The postal code is 321.

The towns and villages in Ika northeast includes Akpama, Ibiegwa, Oduga, Umukpulu, Ute-Erumu, Ndobu, Ikeze, Anieyime. The population according to 2006 Census is 163,442 inhabitants and the area is 463 km2. The Local government is majorly populated by members of the Ika ethnic sub-division. The Ika dialect of the Igbo language is widely spoken in the area.
