History Of Ilejemeje

Ilejemeje Local Government Area is located in Ekiti State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Eda Oniyo. The local government area covers an area of 95 square kilometers. As of the 2006 census, Ilejemeje had a population of 43,530. The postal code for the area is 372.

Ilejemeje LGA comprises seven towns, including Epe, Ira, Iro, Otun Ekiti, Eda Oniyo, Ewu, and Ijesamodu. Additionally, the area includes various villages and wards, such as Iludun, Ipere, Iye, Obada, Osan, Erinmope, Igogo, Obada Isaoye, and Kosu.
