History Of Jaba

Jaba Local Government Area is situated in southern Kaduna State, Nigeria. It was created on August 27, 1991, carved out from Jema'a Local Government Area. The administrative capital is Kwoi, and the area covers 531 km⊃2;.

It shares boundaries with Kachia LGA to the northwest, Kagarko LGA to the southwest, Zangon Kataf LGA to the north, and Jema'a LGA to the east. To the south, it borders Karu LGA of Nasarawa State. Jaba LGA is divided into 10 subdivisions or electoral wards, including Chori (Kyoli), Daddu, Dura Bitaro, Fada, Fai, Nduya, Nok, Sabchem, Sabzuro, and Samban.
