Jega Local Government Area in Kebbi State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Jega. It has an area of 891 km2 and a population of 193,352 at the 2006 census. The postal code of the area is 863.

Towns and villages that make up Jega LGA include Jega, Kimba, Akalawa, Basaura, Maza Goma, Gindi, Firchin, Dumbegu, and Sarkin Fada. The LGA is mostly populated by people from the Hausa and the Fulani ethnic divisions. The Hausa language is commonly spoken in the area
