History Of Kudan

Kudan Local Government Area is located in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Its administrative headquarters is situated in the town of Hunkuyi. The Local Government Council is chaired by Shuaibu Jaja.

Kudan Local Government Area is divided into 10 wards, each with its own administrative representation. These wards are Doka ward,Garu ward, Hunkuyi ward, Kurmin Wali North ward, Kurmin Wali South ward, Kudan wardLikoro ward, Sabon Gari Hunkuyi ward, Taban Sani ward, Zabi ward

Kudan Local Government Area covers an area of 400 square kilometers and had a population of 138,992 people according to the 2006 census. The estimated current population is 214,662 inhabitants.

Kudan LGA shares borders with Makarfi, Soba, and Sabon Gari LGAs, as well as parts of Katsina and Kano states. The area comprises various towns and villages, including Randa, Zabi, Doka, Mahuta, Kushigi, Tsinka, Gani, and Kauran Waki. The predominant language spoken in Kudan LGA is the Hausa language.
