History Of Kwande

Kwande Local Government Area is in Benue State, located in North-central Nigeria. The headquarters of Kwande Local Government Area is in the town of Adikpo.

Kwande LGA has an area of 2,891 km2. According to the 2006 Census, Kwande had a population of 248,697. The estimated current population is not provided, but you mentioned 14,809 inhabitants in a specific area.

Kwande is bordered by Vandekiya, Ushongo, and Katsina-Ala LGAs.
It shares borders with Cross River State to the south and the Republic of Cameroon to the southeast.
