History Of Logo

Logo Local Government Area is situated in Benue State, located in North-central Nigeria. The headquarters of Logo Local Government Area is in the town of Ugba.

Logo LGA has an area of 1,408 km2. According to the 2006 census, Logo had a population of 169,063. The estimated current population is put at 194,613 inhabitants. Logo LGA shares boundaries with the Ukum, Guma, Buruku, and Katsina-Ala LGAs. It also shares borders with parts of Taraba state.

Some towns and villages in Logo LGA include Zanzan, Anyilamo, Abeda, Ugba, Tombo, Nenzaev, and Mbater. The Tiv language is widely spoken in the LGA. The postal code for the area is 980.
