Maigatari 2023 Presidential Election Results
Maigatari Local Government Area was created in 1989 during the Military regime, along with 26 other LGAs. Maigatari LGA is situated in the northern part of Jigawa State and shares borders with Yobe State and Kaugama LGA to the east, Gumel LGA to the south, Sule Tankarkar LGA to the west, and the Republic of Niger to the north.
By the 1991 census, Maigatari LGA had a population of about 186,000 people.
