History Of Malam Madori

Malam Madori Local Government Area (LGA) is located in the northern part of Jigawa State, Nigeria. Malam Madori LGA covers an area of 766 square kilometers and had a population of 164,791 inhabitants according to the 2006 census. The estimated current population is 211,408 inhabitants.

Malam Madori LGA is comprised of several towns and villages, including Dunari, Fateka, Jarmeski, Masama, Sheya, Zaburan, Pateka, and Makadari. The majority of the population in Malam Madori LGA are members of the Kanuri ethnic group, although there is also a significant Hausa population. The Kanuri and Hausa languages are commonly spoken in the area.
