History Of Mani

Mani Local Government Area is situated in Katsina State, within the North-West geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The headquarters of Mani LGA is located in the town of Mani.

According to the 2006 census, Mani LGA had a population of 176,966 people. However, the estimated population is reported as 195,777 inhabitants. Mani LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Tsagem, Randawa, Galawa, Tabalawa, and Gedan Gewayau. 

The majority of the inhabitants in Mani LGA are reported to be members of the Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups. The Hausa and Fulfulde languages are commonly spoken in the area. The postal code for Mani LGA is 823.
