Miga Local Government Area is situated in Jigawa State, Nigeria. Its administrative headquarters is located in the town of Miga. Miga LGA covers an area of 586 square kilometers and had a population of 128,424 inhabitants according to the 2006 census. The current estimated population is 179,088 inhabitants.
