Nangere 2023 Presidential Election Results
Nangere Local Government Area is located in Yobe State, Nigeria, within the North-east geopolitical zone. Its headquarters is situated in the town of Sabon Garin Nangere at coordinates 11°51′53″N 11°04′16″E.
According to the 2006 census, Nangere LGA had a total population of 87,823 inhabitants. However, recent estimates suggest a population of approximately 188,761 inhabitants. Besides Sabon Garin Nangere, other towns and villages within Nangere LGA include Dawasa, Tagamasa, Tikau, and Dorowa.
Nangere LGA hosts the Tikau Emirate. The majority of the population in Nangere LGA belong to the Karai and Fulani ethnic groups. Commonly spoken languages include Karai, Hausa, and Fulfulde (Fufulde).
