Numan Local Government Area (LGA) in Adamawa State, Nigeria. Numan Local Government Area is situated within the North-east geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The estimated population of Numan LGA is 185,972 inhabitants.

Numan LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Vulpi, Bare, Shelleng, Libbo Dutse, Bakta, Kiri, and Bodwai. The area is mostly populated by members of the Bwatiye ethnic group. The Bachama language is commonly spoken in Numan LGA.
