    History Of Oguta

    Oguta Local Government Area (LGA) is situated in Imo State, Nigeria, and is one of the 27 LGAs within the state. It covers an area of about 197 square kilometers.

    Oguta LGA is home to several communities, including Oguta, Egbuoma, Iheorji, Ohaji, Osemoto, and Umunakanu. These communities contribute to the cultural and social fabric of the local government area.

    According to the 2006 census, the population of Oguta LGA is estimated to be around 170,000 people.
