History Of Ohaozara

Ohaozara Local Government Area is situated in Ebonyi State, Nigeria, within the South-east geopolitical zone. It is made up of towns and villages such as Ugwulangwu, Uburu, Okposi, Akaeze, Ishiagu, Amaokwe, Umuobor, and Amachi.

As of the 2006 census, Ohaozara Local Government Area had a population of 148,626 inhabitants. However, the current estimated population is around 169,404 people. The majority of the population consists of members of the Igbo ethnic group, who primarily speak the Ohaozara dialect of the Igbo language.
