History Of Ose

Ose Local Government Area is in Ondo State, located in the Southwest of Nigeria, with its administrative headquarters situated in the town of Ifon. Ose is made up of various communities, including Ikaro, Okeluse, Ijagba, Imoru, Arimogija, Elegbeka (Ikaro), Ogberuwen, Ute, Ifon, Omi-alafa, Ugbonla, and Ogbese Falodun to the south; and Ido-ani, Idogun, Ido-isale, Afo, and Imeri to the north.

Ose LGA has an estimated population of 249,588 inhabitants, with the majority being members of the Yoruba ethnic group. The Yoruba language is commonly spoken in the LGA. The religions of Christianity, traditionalism, and Islam are extensively practiced in the area.
