History Of Ringim

Ringim Local Government Area is located in Jigawa State, Nigeria. Its administrative headquarters is situated in the town of Ringim. According to the 2006 census, Ringim LGA had a population of 192,024 inhabitants. The LGA covers an area of 1,057 square kilometers.

The majority of the population in Ringim LGA are members of the Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups. Ringim LGA is a part of the Ringim Emirate, which is a traditional administrative unit in the region. Ringim LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Yakasawa, Marawa, Daurawa, Gasakole, Karshi, Tofa, Dabi, and Ringim.
