History Of Sabon Gari

Sabon Gari Local Government Area is located in Kaduna State, Nigeria. It is one of the local government areas within the Zaria metropolis and is also considered one of the districts of the Zazzau Emirate Council.

The local government area includes several towns and villages such as Dogarawa, Bomo, Basawa, Zabi, Samaru, Kwari, Barashi, Muchiya, and Palladan. Sabon Gari Local Government Area is densely populated, with an estimated population of 204,562 people. The towns host members of diverse ethnic affiliations.

The major language spoken in the area is the Hausa language. Islam and Christianity are the predominant religions practiced among the residents of Sabon Gari Local Government Area.
