Yewa North Local Government Area in Ogun State, Nigeria. Yewa North, formerly known as Egbado North, is situated in the western part of Ogun State and shares a border with the Republic of Benin. The local government area is characterized by a significant landmass, covering approximately 2,087 square kilometers. The headquarters of Yewa North is located in Aiyetoro.

Some of the towns within Yewa North Local Government Area include Eggua, Ebute, Ibese, Iboro, Igbogila, Igan-Alade, Igan-Okoto, Imasai, Ijako, Komi, Sawonjo, Joga, Oja, and Owode. Each of these towns likely has its own unique history and cultural heritage.
