    Not less than 1,255 inbound and outbound flights have been cancelled by Beijing officials on Wednesday, this number is representative of almost 70 percent of all flight services, as reported by the People’s Daily.

    Residents in Beijing have been asked not to travel outside the city, with some provinces quarantining travellers from the city after over 130 new coronavirus cases were recorded.

    These fresh cases have sparked unease in China, with some loosened restrictions gradually been reinstalled to curb the spread of the virus.
