1 Dead As Bandits Attack NDA in Kaduna

Bandits have attacked the Nigerian Defence Academy, Afaka in Kaduna on Tuesday morning.

The bandits invaded the barracks killing a naval officer, Daily Trust reported.

“It was a terrible experience, the bandits took advantage of the time when most people had gone to bed to attack the barracks,” Daily Trust was told. “Right now, the whole barracks is under lock and key and security has been beefed up so that the bandits would not leave the barracks… it is believed that they are still within."

The report also said that one of the officers injured is in the hospital responding to treatment.

The bandits were also said to have also kidnapped two majors.
