10 people were killed and 20 others wounded in Russian strikes across Ukraine on Friday.
Ukraine’s presidential office said the strikes come after a senior Russia official warned that the Russian forces were prepared for an Ukrainian counteroffensive in the coming weeks.
The attacks hit Kostiantynivka, a town in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk province.
Prosecutors said the Russians attacked Kostyantynivka with S-300 anti-aircraft missiles.
The civilians who died were refugees, according to Donetsk Gov. Pavlo Kyrylenko.
Russian forces also used air-launched missiles, exploding drones and gliding bombs in their attacks on Friday, Ukrainian air force spokesman Yurii Ihnat said.
Sumy province, town of Bilopillia was also attacked by a rocket and artillery barrage and air strikes.
In the southern Kherson region, which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited on Thursday, Russian shelling also struck the place.
