Turkish forces detained 11 suspects in three provinces on Monday in operations against the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party (MLKP) terrorist group.
Authorities ordered the arrest of 14 suspects. As the officers raided several locations in Istanbul, Bursa and Izmir.
They confiscated documents and digital material used for terrorist propaganda in the raids.
Operations are also underway to capture three suspects who remain at large.
The MLKP terror group, founded in 1994, is on the country’s list of primary terrorist organisations.
Although it tries to portray itself as a separate group, the MLKP often aligns with the PKK terrorists.
The PKK itself has killed thousands of people in Turkey in years of conducting terror.
