Thirteen people were killed when their van overturned on a highway in central Mexico City on Saturday.
The tragic accident resulted in the death of 13 while 10 others were injured.
The emergency services agency from Jalisco State said on Twitter that seven of the victims who died were initially trapped inside the car.
The accident happened near the city of Lagos de Moreno, on a highway that links the central states of Guanajuato and Jalisco.
NBC News reported that photos from the emergency services agency show a large black van toppled onto its side along the highway, with a shattered windshield.
