1,860 Students Complete Mandatory National Service In Kano

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on Thursday disclosed that 1,860 2022 Batch A Stream 1 corps members have completed the mandatory national service in Kano State.

The State Coordinator, Aisha Mohammad, stated this during the low-key passing out ceremony which took place at the Federal Secretariat, Kano.

Mohammad was represented on the occasion by the Assistant Director, Redeployment and Relocation, Ben Akpata.

She charged the corps members to be in the vanguard of peace, and should embrace the skills acquisition training they learnt during the service year to be self-reliant.

Mohammad said that out of the total figure of the outgoing corps members, six would repeat the service year.

According to her, the service year has been extended for 12 corps members for defaulting in one way or the other.

The coordinator advised the corps members to shun all forms of social vices.
