Late hip hop icon DMX is set to be honoured with a special tribute at the 2021 edition of the BET Awards.
According to reports, the tribute will be curated by music producer Swizz Beatz who was a longtime friend of the deceased rapper and will include performances from Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Griselda, and a special appearance by Michael K. Williams.
The 2021 BET Awards will celebrate the life of DMX from the beginning of his music career with label Ruff Ryders up until the time of his demise. The celebration will be by debuting a song from DMX's upcoming posthumous album Exodus.

The event is scheduled to air live on Monday, June 28, 2021, on BET Africa (DSTV channel 129) at 1:00 WAT/2:00 CAT. Viewers can also watch the repeat at 19:00 WAT/20:00 CAT on the same day.
