Expert keynote speakers at the 2022 Digital PayExpo have emphasised the need for Africans to adopt Decentralized Finance (DeFi), particularly at the grassroots level.

The two-day event, which began on Thursday, brought together an unprecedented number of DeFi innovators and change-makers to share their stories, knowledge, and insight into Decentralised Finance from a variety of perspectives and use cases, as well as the practical gaps and challenges to avoid in the implementation of DeFi on the Continent.
