2022 JAMB: Ekiti Indigene Records Highest Score In UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed Adebayo Eyimofe, an Ekiti State indigene as the highest scorer in the just concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The board made this known on Thursday at its ongoing 2022 policy meeting taking place at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. 

Prof Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar disclosed that Eyimofe who wrote his examination in Abuja and scored 362 was followed closely by  Ugwu Chikelu.

Chikelu, an Enugu State indigene who also wrote his examination in Abuja scored 359.

Other candidates with outstanding results in the examination include Emmanuel Oluwanifemi 357; Ozumba Samuel 357; Olumide-Attah Ayomide 355; Lawal Olaoluwa 355; Dokun Jubril 354; Amaku Anthony 354 and Aghulor Divine 353.

The 2022 UTME was held between May 6 and 16, 2022 with over 1.8 registered candidates.
