2022 UTME: JAMB Gives Reasons For Withholding Results

Joint Admissions and MatriculatioThe ns Board (JAMB) has given reasons for withholding some 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination results.

AllNews Nigeria reports that JAMB released 2022UTME results on Saturday, May 14.

The Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, in an interview with Punch gave examination malpractice, bad conduct of candidates, breached procedural process, and review of examination centre as reasons for withholding some candidates' results.

“We have released results for this batch. There are many factors that can lead to a result being withheld. It could be as a result of examination malpractice, the candidate’s inability to conduct himself or herself properly, a breach in procedural process, or a review of the centre,” Benjamin said.

The board had earlier, through its bulletin, promised to withhold or withdraw the results of candidates involved in malpractices as the case may be.
