With a few hours to the 2022 Qatar World Cup final between France and Argentina, veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo has offered his prayers.
In support of Argentina and the country’s star player, Lionel Messi, RMD declared that the World Cup goes to them.
According to him, this is the year of Messi’s separation into greatness and the world awaits that.
“Lord have MESSI. This is the year of the Argentine. The year of his separation unto greatness.
“The world awaits that final kiss of the golden CHALICE.
"Rise Messi and take your place!” RMD captioned his post.
Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé are the two stars of Argentina and France respectively.
Lionel Messi will be hoping to secure the trophy that would cement his status as perhaps the game’s greatest-ever player while Mbappé could solidify his claim as the young pretender to Messi’s throne if France wins.
