Ademola Lookman is optimistic about replicating his Atlanta goalscoring form to help Super Eagles see off Guinea Bissau in their AFCON qualifying match.
The winger made Jose Peseiro's 23-man squad as a result of an impressive season in the Serie A, scoring 12 goals and providing four assists in the 26 league matches played this term.
Speaking on NFF TV, the 25-year-old said he is looking forward to Friday's showpiece in Abuja and hoping to have his name on the score sheet.
“Looking forward to another big game for us in the qualification for the AFCON and is a big opportunity for us to get close to that," he said.
“It is nice to score goals and I hope I take that to the team because it is important for the team winning and qualifying for AFCON.”
Lookman has managed to score once having played six matches for the Super Eagles.
The goal came in the match against Sao Tome & Principe as the Eagles won 10-0 to claim a historic victory.
