The presidential candidate alongside his running mate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on Tuesday met with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to commence talks.
The duo arrived at the CAN Headquarters in Abuja accompanied by PDP national chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu.
Others who accompanied Atiku include Governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku; former Senate President, Bukola Saraki; former Vice President, Alhaji Namadi Sambo; Chief Tom Ikimi; Chairman Emeritus of Daar Communications Plc, Dr Raymond Dokpesi;
Liyel Imoke, a former governor of Cross River, Senator Philip Aduda, Senator Dino Melaye, Timi Alaibe, Kenneth Imasuagbon, Dele Momodu, Boni Haruna, and other party Chieftains were also seen with the presidential candidates.
CAN recently commenced talks with presidential candidates who have come to present their plans to the Christian leaders.
The presidential candidate of the Accord Party (AP), Christopher Imumolen who met with leaders last week said he would prioritise education and youth employment if elected in the forthcoming presidential election.
