2023: Atiku Visits Osun, Calls For Cooperation To Rescue Nigeria

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has assured that if elected as President he has a holistic plan which is capable of stemming the rising cases of insecurity and uncertainty in the country.

Atiku who is an aspirant under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) added that no government can succeed in an atmosphere of chaos.

The former vice President who paid a visit to the Osun State chapter of the PDP on Sunday stated that he came to Osun to formally intimate the state chapter of the party of his bid for the forthcoming presidential election.

He commended the leaders and members of PDP in the state for their unflinching love for him which they never hid at any given opportunity.

Speaking about his electoral pedigree which earned him about 12 million votes in the last election, Atiku stressed that it would remain a plus for him and the party if given the opportunity again as presidential candidate of the party in the 2023 presidential election.

The Caretaker Committee Chairman, Akindele Adekunle, on behalf of leaders and members of Osun PDP, assured Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the overwhelming trust of party members in the state in his capacity to salvage Nigeria with his wealth of experience as manager of men and a proven industrialist. 

"It is my candid belief that the former Vice President is an undisputable heavyweight presidential material for PDP, who deserves all the support of well meaning Nigerians at this time in the history of our country," Akindele said.
