2023: Details Of Peter Obi's Meeting With Goodluck Jonathan

As part of his presidential campaign in Bayelsa State, Labour Party presidential flag bearer Peter Obi paid former president Goodluck Jonathan a visit on Friday, the details of which have now emerged.

Speaking via his official Twitter handle on Friday, Jonathan disclosed that he met the Obi's presidential council members and reiterated his stance on uniting the country to move it forward.

According to Jonathan, whoever wins in 2023 must work towards uniting the nation. He also advised the Labour Party and others to ensure that their campaigns are peaceful.

"Today, I received in audience members of the Presidential Campaign Council of the @NgLabour led by its presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.

"I reiterated that to move Nigeria forward, we all must see it as our own country and believe in the unity of the nation.

"Whoever becomes the next president must work towards uniting the nation.

"I also stressed the need for a credible election and urge the Labour Party and all other parties and their supporters to conduct their campaigns peacefully", the former Nigerian leader penned.
