    Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi has declared his intention to run for president in 2023, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

    This is coming barely 24 hours after the National Leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu made known his interest to run for the position.

    Governor Umahi disclosed this to State House correspondents after meeting behind closed doors with President Muhammadu Buhari.

    He revealed that he had informed the President of his intention during the meeting.
