2023 Election: Anzadzo Joins Race To Contest Obi I Constituency

2023 Election: Anzadzo Joins Race To Contest Obi I Constitue

Jonathan Ibrahim Anzadzo

Grassroots mobilser, Ibrahim Jonathan Anzadzo has declared his intention to represent Obi I Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) in 2023.

Anzadzo who hails from Tudun Adabu disclosed that he will be contesting under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The grassroots mobilzer who began his political journey with the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in 2010 assured the electorates of purposeful and life-impactful representation that would address the myriad of challenges bedeviling the constituency if entrusted with the mandate.

He had served the party at different capacities over the years most notably as the pioneer Secretary of the defunct CPC and later Treasurer after the merger in 2013 to now APC.

Responding, youth leader Auwal Maku noted that since the inception of democracy in 1999, only Tudun Adabu ward is yet to produce House Member representing the Constituency.

“It's not longer news that Obi I Constituency where Anzadzo hails from comprised of five (5) electoral wards namely Adudu, Agwatashi, Daddare, Obi and Tudun Adabu.

“And all the aforementioned wards had produced House Member to represent the constituency in different parties except Tudun Adabu.

“On this note, I am appealing to all well meaning individuals to in the interest of justice consider Anzadzo as alternative candidate come 2023.

“With him at the helm of affairs , I am confident Obi I Constituency would witness uncommon representation in tangible forms,” Maku said.

He assured that the election would be a walkover for the ruling party in the constituency with Anzadzo as its candidate considering his wide acceptance and pedigree
