2023 Election: APC Accuses Atiku Of Planning To Buy PDP's  P

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the former vice president and the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar of planning to buy PDP's presidential ticket.

Making this allegation in a series of tweets, APC alleged that Atiku and the leadership of PDP of having a series of meeting in Dubai to perfect Atiku's plot to purchase the party's Presidential election ticket.

While it is only normal for Atiku to contest at the party's primary election for the Presidential ticket, APC insinuates that Atiku had plans ongoing to buy the party's Presidential ticket.

"The PDP and @atiku  who has began early 2023 campaign on the PDP's presidential candidature he is poised to purchase, are engrossed with their Dubai meetings to plot their hallucinatory return to ensure their bid to selloff the remainder of our national assets. Nigerians are wiser," a tweet by APC read.

It will be recalled that the 2019 Presidential election primaries of PDP saw Atiku emerge the party's presidential candidate. The process was reported to have been marred by series of vote-buying.

While there is still uncertainty as regards the candidates that will be contesting at the 2023 presidential elections, the issue of zoning remains one of the major factors that most political parties are considering in selecting candidates for the 2023 presidential election.
