2023 Election: Buni Celebrates Tinubu's Victory, Prays For God's Guidance

The Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, has celebrated the victory of President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the just concluded 2023 presidential election.

Buni, who congratulated the president-elect and his vice, Kashim Shettima, prayed for God's guidance throughout their tenure. 

He further described the duo as the best team for Nigeria at the moment.

As contained in a statement on Wednesday by Mamman Mohammed, spokesperson to the governor, Buni said: "The people of Nigeria have spoken with great hope for a better Nigeria through the Tinubu/Shettima Presidency.

"Tinubu is a true Nigerian who in his private and public life accommodates Nigerians from various ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.

"His experience in transforming Lagos state would no doubt be used for the transformation of a larger Nigeria."

He further called on Nigerians and other candidates who contested the election alongside Tinubu to support him in building a united and prosperous Nigeria.
