The Kaduna State Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has organised a programme to seek divine intervention to achieve a free, fair and credible general elections.
The programme which had ministers from across the state in attendance was tagged “Oh land, hear the word of the Lord” and was held on Wednesday in Kaduna.
Speaking at the event, the State Chairman of the Organisation, Apostle Emmanuel Bako Egoh, said the 2023 general elections were very important to them as watchmen in the land.
“We’re here for the Church to step in because the country is at crossroads in making major decisions that will affect the destiny and the future of the Nation,” He said.
Egoh described the general elections and the census coming up this year as critical assignments that required Nigeria's prayers and full participation to aid the development of the country.
The State Chairman appealed to church elders to intervene and pray for the will of God to prevail over the people of Nigeria.
He advised against the use of personal ambition against the people of Nigeria.
